January Sanctuary, the snow and cold take hold
I'd like to have the chance to leave, but the snowdrifts are too bold
I think I'll go inside my house, it's easier to live
Inside there are things I found and the memories they give
What's on your wall, where will you put it all
the shelves must be high, for you really must stand tall
A candle in the bathroom, a picture by the sink
I can't stand washing dishes, but it's sure nice to think
Wildflowers, pretty pink, I guess I know ya like to drink
I think I'll take a walk outside, enjoy the peace I find
Sometimes people hate so much, only solitude is kind
What's on your wall, where will you put it all
the shelves must be high, for you really must stand tall
The time, the lime, the rhyme, the grime,
Please burn me in the end.
Of all the people that I've known, you are my kindest friend
Smoke takes prayers, and prayers are smoke
cares are jokes our jokes our cares
Just leave your shoes at the bottom of my stairs.
Some times reduction, should probably stop at pairs.
What's on your wall, where will you put it all
the shelves must be high, for you really must stand tall
The time, the lime, the rhyme, the grime,
Please burn me in the end.
Of all the people that I've known, you are my kindest friend
Take my hand and I'll take yours, I'll even do some simple chores.
Just don't ever forget, the campfires are for smores
A plane can fix some doors, the oceans all have shores, I could maybe buy some stores.
What's on your wall, where will you put it all
the shelves must be high, for you really must stand tall
The time, the lime, the rhyme, the grime,
Please burn me in the end.
Of all the people that I've known, you are my kindest friend
